Causes and maintenance methods:

 

  1. The heating plate is not heated, which may be due to a poor power cord. Check the circuit;

 

  1. The heating plate is not heated, or the metal sheet switch contact may be ignited and oxidized. Polish the oxidized part of the contact with sandpaper or a small file;

 

  1. Heat the heating plate, check the light plate, and if it is broken, just replace it with a new one.

 

Fault 4: unable to cook

 

Causes and maintenance methods:

 

  1. The power lead is an open circuit. Check the power supply wire with the ohm block of the multimeter;

 

  1. The current limiting resistor is blown. At this time, check the resistance with the ohm block of the multimeter. If the resistance is fused, it must be replaced by the current limiting resistance of the same model, and it cannot be directly replaced by wires;

 

  1. The heating pipe is burnt out. The rice cooker without current limiting resistance works for a long time and burns out the heating tube. At this time, check the heating pipe with the ohm block of the multimeter. If there is an open circuit, it must be replaced together with the heating plate.

 

Fault 5: cooking and pasting pot

 

Causes and maintenance methods:

 

  1. The normally closed contacts of the heat preservation switch are sintered and stuck together due to long-term overload or water inflow. Although the rice has been cooked and the temperature limiter has also jumped, the heat preservation switch continues to energize the heating pipe and heat it all the time, causing the pot to paste. At this time, use a knife to separate the contacts, and then use fine sandpaper to clean the contact surface.

 

  1. The tripping temperature of magnetic steel is wrong. The tripping temperature of magnetic steel used in different sizes of pots is different. For example, the magnetic steel used in 2500W pots for 700W pots is easy to paste. Commutation matching magnetic steel.

 

  1. Due to heat transfer, heat dissipation, and other reasons, iron pot liners are easy to paste, rust, and produce trachoma. It is best not to choose iron pot liners that look thick and heavy.
