The most common fault is that the electric heating element in the electric heating plate is damaged. The electric heating element is often made into an electric heating tube. When overhauling, turn the multimeter on R × In gear 1, the higher the rated power of the electric fry pan, the smaller the resistance. If the gauge needle points to "∞" during measurement, it can be determined that the electric heating wire in the electric heating tube is burnt out, and the electric heating tube of the same model and specification must be replaced. After replacement, use a megger to measure the insulation resistance between the electric heating wire of the electric heating tube and the electric fry pan, which should be greater than 1m Ω before use.

However, this case is of thyristor temperature regulating type. After investigation, it is found that the insulation of capacitor C decreases, resulting in slow charging, which makes vs unable to reliably trigger conduction, and the heating is very slow. After replacing C, the heating is normal. If the potentiometer RP is in poor contact, this fault will also be caused.

Analysis and maintenance: at first glance, it seems that the power supply is blocked. First check the contact between the power line and the power connector, which is good without disconnection. The electric fry pan also uses a thyristor to regulate the temperature. Check each device with a multimeter. It is found that the trigger diode has been open circuit and damaged so that the thyristor can not get the trigger voltage and is always cut off, the electric heater does not heat, and the indicator light cannot be on. After replacing with a 0.5W / 20V trigger diode, the electric casserole returned to normal. In addition, if the bulb is open circuit or: eh open circuit (more common), vs open circuit will cause this fault.
Troubleshooting of multifunctional electric fry pan

- Check whether the power cord is powered on.
